Alec Brennan AM, Hon D Bus (Sydney), MBA (London), BSc (UNSW)
Alec Brennan is Founder and Chair of Brennan Family Foundation and has a broad range of business and not for profit interests.
Alec was CEO of CSR having had a broad career in manufacturing and mining. He was a public company director for more than 30 years and is a Fellow of the AICD. In recent years Alec served on the Senate of Sydney University and as its Deputy Chancellor. He was on the board of the EPA NSW and Chaired its Finance Committee. Alec was a director of Sydney Institute of Marine Science until 2022.
Alec has an honours degree in Food Technology from UNSW and an MBA (distinction) from City, University of London. Alec was awarded an AM in 2013 for “significant service to Business and Commerce, tertiary education administration and the Community and in 2021 he received an Honorary Doctorate in Business from Sydney University recognising his contribution to « business, the not-for-profit sector and to community initiatives » Back to Governance
